Drill Mills

Available118 products
Drill mills have a nose with a pointed tip and can drill holes or create angled features in a piece of stock. They are used for slotting, side profiling, chamfering, spotting, countersinking, cutting grooves, and other milling tasks. Each drill mill has flutes on its cutting head that carry chips away from the workpiece to prevent damage to the drill mill or workpiece. Drill mills are used on CNC or manual milling machines.

Bright Finish Carbide Drill Mills

Bright Finish Carbide Drill Mills
Carbide drill mills provide excellent wear resistance and heat resistance, and they are harder than high-speed steel drill mills. These drill mills have a bright finish that provides a smooth, polished surface.

AlTiN-Coated Carbide Drill Mills

AlTiN-Coated Carbide Drill Mills
Carbide drill mills offer excellent wear resistance and heat resistance, and they are harder than high-speed steel drill mills. These drill mills have an AlTiN coating that protects them from wear and provides better resistance to high heat than TiN, TiCN, and TiAlN coatings. AlTiN-coated drill mills are used for milling hard and abrasive materials.

Bright Finish High-Speed Steel Drill Mills

Bright Finish High-Speed Steel Drill Mills
High-speed steel drill mills offer good wear resistance for general purpose milling applications. High-speed steel is more flexible than carbide, so high-speed steel drill mills are a good choice for milling applications with older milling machines that may not run as smoothly as newer machines. These drill mills have a bright finish that provides a smooth, polished surface.

TiAlN-Coated Carbide Drill Mills

TiAlN-Coated Carbide Drill Mills
Carbide drill mills are harder than high-speed steel drill mills, and they provide excellent wear resistance and heat resistance. These drill mills have a TiAlN coating that withstands high temperatures and protects the drill mills from wear when milling hard materials. The TiAlN coating is more resistant to cracks and oxidation than TiN or TiCN coatings.

TiCN-Coated High-Speed Steel Drill Mills

TiCN-Coated High-Speed Steel Drill Mills
High-speed steel drill mills provide good wear resistance for general purpose milling applications. High-speed steel is more flexible than carbide, which makes high-speed steel drill mills a good choice for milling applications with older milling machines that may not run as smoothly as newer machines. These drill mills have a TiCN coating that protects the drill mill from wear and is harder and more wear-resistant than a TiN coating.

TiN-Coated High-Speed Steel Drill Mills

TiN-Coated High-Speed Steel Drill Mills
High-speed steel drill mills provide good wear resistance for general purpose milling applications. Because high-speed steel is more flexible than carbide, high-speed steel drill mills are a good choice for milling applications with older milling machines that may not run as smoothly as newer machines. These drill mills feature a TiN coating that helps protect them from wear and resists impact better than coatings that contain aluminum.
