Chamfer Mills

Available148 products
Chamfer mills have angled cutting edges at the nose of the tool. They are primarily used to create chamfered or beveled edges on a workpiece, but they may also be used to debur edges on a workpiece and to spot and countersink a hole in one step prior to drilling. Each chamfer mill has flutes on its cutting head that carry chips away from the workpiece to prevent damage to the end mill or workpiece. Chamfer mills are used on CNC or manual milling machines.

Single-End Straight-Shank Chamfer Mills

Single-End Straight-Shank Chamfer Mills
Single-end chamfer mills with a straight shank have angled cutting edges on one end for creating chamfered or beveled edges on a workpiece. They are less fragile than double-end chamfer mills. The chamfer mills' straight shank installs into a chuck, collet, or heat-shrink toolholder on a milling machine.

Double-End Straight-Shank Chamfer Mills

Double-End Straight-Shank Chamfer Mills
Double-end chamfer mills with a straight shank have angled cutting edges on both their ends for creating chamfered or beveled edges on a workpiece. They can accomplish more milling tasks than single-end chamfer mills before they need to be replaced. When the cutting edges on one end wear down, the end mill can be flipped over to expose the fresh cutting edges on the other end. These end mills have a straight shank that installs into a chuck, collet, or heat-shrink toolholder on a milling machine.
