Metal Shearing Machines
Metal shearing machines use cutting blades or dies to leave clean-edged cuts on sheet metal or metal struts, rods, and bars. Straight machining shears hold large sheet metal workpieces on their worktable and use their blades to cut the sheets. Bench shears mount to a work surface and use their blades to slice through strips and smaller pieces of sheet metal. Strut shears hold workpieces such as struts and threaded rods on their worktable and press their interchangeable cutting dies through material to make the cut.
