Available19 products
Bridge reamers are installed in a compatible power tool to enlarge, debur, and finish holes in structural materials to a specific size. The reamers have tapered flutes that ease the tool's entry into rough-cut or misaligned holes. Also called construction reamers, alignment reamers, and car reamers, they are designed for reaming difficult-to-machine materials such as iron and structural steel in metalworking applications where extreme precision is not required. Bridge reamers, car reamers, and alignment reamers are commonly used to ream rivet holes in parts for automobiles, bridges, rail cars, ships, and pressure vessels.

Bridge Reamers with Morse Taper Shank
Morse taper shank bridge reamers can be directly inserted into the spindle of a compatible tool or into an adapter such as a Morse taper sleeve or socket. This maximizes efficiency when installing and removing the reamers. They provide accurate centering, and the reamer's self-locking Morse taper shank is held in place by the friction between the shank and the toolholder. Bridge reamers (also known as alignment reamers) enlarge, debur, and finish holes in structural materials and have tapered flutes that ease the tool's entry into rough-cut or misaligned holes.
