Step Chamfer Drill Bits

Step chamfer drill bits create a hole with a countersink in one pass. Sometimes called subland drill bits, they clean and debur the hole as they drill and can be used to prepare holes for tapping.
Primary Material Application
TINAl-Coated Carbide Step Chamfer Drill Bits
The TiNAl coating on these drill bits provides a low-friction surface on the tool and is suitable for drilling most materials. Carbide drill bits provide excellent hardness, wear resistance, and heat resistance, but they require a rigid setup such as a drill press.
