Port tools cut a complex shape into an existing hole for a precise fit when installing ports into the hole in metalworking tasks. Also known as porting tools or port contour cutters, these tools are designed with all the necessary features and dimensions of the port built into the tool except the depth, which is controlled by the machine that operates the port tool.
