Mist Coolant Systems

Mist coolant systems attach to machining equipment and spray a mist of coolant onto tools and workpieces during cutting or machining operations. The coolant lubricates, removes chips, and disperses heat to prevent damage to the tools or workpieces. These systems use compressed air to turn coolant into a spray that can be precisely directed to a specific area of tools or workpieces. Mist coolant systems use much less coolant than flood systems and don't require a tank to collect coolant for disposal.
