Order LookupFlood Coolant Systems
Available1 product
Flood coolant systems attach to machine tools to provide a constant stream of coolant to a workpiece during high-speed, high-feed, or long-cycle cutting operations. The coolant lubricates, removes chips, and disperses heat to prevent damage to the tools or workpieces. These systems have a tank with a chip basket that filters out debris as coolant runs through the system. The tank resists oil and can be used with undiluted light cutting oils and water-soluble concentrated machining coolants. Flood coolant systems release less coolant mist into the surrounding area than mist coolant systems, which helps reduce the risk of harmful exposure to coolant mist for workers and electronic components.
