Locating pins accurately position and maintain the location of workpieces in workholding applications. Also referred to as workholding bolts or headed dowels, they have cylindrical mounting shanks and a locating head. They are inserted into the tool body or plate to properly locate the workpiece on horizontal X and Y axes.
