Spring pin plungers secure and position workpieces and components in heavy-load applications. They fit into holes and receptacles to lock and index components and have spring-actuated pins that sink inside the device when pressure is applied to the top of the pin nose to allow lateral movement. The ball returns to its extended position once the spring is no longer actuated.
