Dog-Point Hand Knob Screws

Dog-point hand knob screws have a dog-point tip that mates with a machined slot to secure the knob in place, and a long threaded screw for mounting to tapped holes. Their dog-point tip prevents damage to internal threads during insertion into threaded holes, provides a flat surface for applying clamping force, and has a smaller diameter than the threaded stud to lock into a matching slot. They can be tightened and loosened to adjust clamping pressure.
