Food-Grade Gear Oils

Food-grade gear oils lubricate, cool, and protect gear teeth in processing equipment for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical production facilities. These oils are used in and around production areas where there is the potential for exposure to food. The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certifies these oils for the level of contact that is appropriate for use to eliminate the risk of food contamination.

These NSF H1 gear oils are rated for incidental contact with food in applications where contact is unavoidable. They are safe for human consumption in diminutive quantities and are often used on equipment such as conveyor belts, pumps, and mixers that are in close proximity to food production.
