Food-Grade Hydraulic Oils
Available83 products
Food-grade hydraulic oils, also called hydraulic fluids, circulate through pressurized systems to lubricate and transmit power in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical production equipment and machinery. These oils are used in and around processing areas where there is the potential for exposure to food. The National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) certifies these oils for the level of contact that is appropriate for use to eliminate the risk of food contamination.
Incidental Contact (NSF H1) Food-Grade Hydraulic Oils
These NSF H1 hydraulic oils are rated for incidental contact with food in applications where contact is unavoidable. They are safe for human consumption in diminutive quantities and are often used on equipment such as conveyor belts, pumps, and mixers that are in close proximity to food production.

No Direct Contact (NSF H2) Food-Grade Hydraulic Oils
These NSF H2 hydraulic oils are rated for no direct contact with food. While they are safe to use in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical plants and have no toxic substances, they should only be used on machinery and equipment that is separate from the processing operation such as pumps, air compressors, or forklifts.
