Open gear grease is a thick paste-type lubricant designed to stay in place on exposed, slow-moving gears and bearings. It is often used on winches and hoists, elevator tracks, and construction machinery.
Extreme-Pressure Open Gear Grease
This extreme-pressure (EP) grease applies to heavy load, open gear sets that are exposed to harsh operating conditions. EP grease offers protection against wear, water, and temperatures to stay tacky and does not melt or run off in extreme weather conditions or temperatures.
