Breathers and Vents

Breathers and vents attach to a container or reservoir in a lubrication system to relieve built-up heat and pressure and keep the containers or reservoirs at a neutral pressure, which prevents leaks and blow-outs. Breathers also allow fresh air into the container while keeping dirt, water, and other contaminants out. Use desiccant breathers and desiccant vents on large storage tanks, oil drums, gearboxes, hydraulic reservoirs, and other lubrication containers or reservoirs.

Allows excess pressure to vent as heat builds up with these pressure vacuum breathers. As the system cools, outside pressure is also allowed back in. 20 micron bronze filter keeps dirt from entering the system.
