Glove bags allow lab personnel to handle and manipulate moisture- and air-sensitive materials in a controlled environment. Samples are added to the bag, then the bag is closed and an inert gas is pumped in to inflate the bag to allow handling. Gloves are integrated into the bag to prevent leaks. Bags can be reused if they have not become contaminated. Bags can be folded flat and reused to take up less space in small labs or to travel to sample sites.
