Through-the-wall fans pull stale air, heat, odors, and some moisture out of work areas and other indoor spaces to reduce airborne contaminants, improve indoor air quality, and allow occupants to breathe comfortably. They also may help regulate the indoor air temperature since they circulate the air. Sometimes called utility fans, these fans install into a wall for ventilating small areas or moving air through rooms.
Standard Ductless Through-the-Wall Exhaust Fans
Ductless through-the-wall exhaust fans mount to an exterior wall and do not need to be connected to ductwork. Also known as thruwall fans or through-wall fans, they are suitable for ventilating a single room or spot ventilating areas near workbenches or equipment that emits fumes.
