Slant-Wall, Cone & Cylinder Exhaust Fans

Available5 products
Slant-wall, cone, and cylinder exhaust fans pull stale air, heat, odors, and some moisture out of indoor spaces to reduce airborne contaminants, improve indoor air quality, and allow occupants to breathe comfortably. They also may help regulate the indoor air temperature since they circulate the air. Also known as agricultural fans, these fans mount to an exterior wall and are suitable for applications where fans cannot be mounted to ceilings.

Direct-Drive Slant-Wall Exhaust Fans

Direct-Drive Slant-Wall Exhaust Fans
Slant-wall fans are commonly used for ventilating industrial and agricultural facilities. Their slanted housing helps protect the fan motor and fan blades from rain and falling debris. These fans have shutters on the intake side, which helps minimize turbulence as air moves through the fan. The shutters close when the fans turn off to block out drafts. The fans also have discharge guards that help prevent objects from entering the fan on the discharge side. Direct-drive slant-wall fans have fewer moving parts and typically require less maintenance than belt-drive slant-wall fans. Each fan features a motor that's directly mounted on the fan shaft, which reduces friction and improves efficiency compared to a belt-drive fan.

Direct-Drive Cylinder Exhaust Fans

Direct-Drive Cylinder Exhaust Fans
Cylinder exhaust fans are more compact than slant-wall or cone exhaust fans, and they are commonly used in agricultural applications. They do not extend as far out from the wall as slant-wall fans, and they can be placed closer together than cone exhaust fans. The fans have shutters on the intake side, which helps minimize turbulence as air moves through the fan. The shutters close when the fans turn off to block out drafts.
