They force stale air out of indoor spaces or pull fresh air into indoor spaces to allow occupants to breathe comfortably. Direct-drive reversible panel fans have fewer moving parts and typically require less maintenance than belt-drive reversible panel fans. Each fan features a motor that's directly mounted on the fan shaft, which reduces friction and improves efficiency compared to a belt-drive fan.
