Also known as sidewall propeller fans, panel fans mount to an exterior wall and are suitable for factories, warehouses, light manufacturing plants, schools, storage facilities, and other indoor areas where fans cannot be mounted to the ceiling.

They are better suited than direct-drive fans for high airflow (≥ 2000 cfm) or high static pressure (≥ 0.50") applications. These fans come with a drive package that includes a motor, pulleys, belts, and bushings, which saves time compared to purchasing all of these components separately.
