Centrifugal upblast exhaust fans run quieter than axial fans making them better suited for occupied spaces. Exhausted air is directed up and away from the fan mounting surface to reduce the buildup of contaminants on the structure. Their design helps them to overcome higher static pressures and move lower volumes of air than axial fans.
