Self-Sealing Duct & Fittings
Self-sealing ducts and fittings are used in low-pressure applications, like those found downstream of terminal boxes or in runouts from main ducts. They connect using integrated gaskets that seal their seams and connection points. These seals improve efficiency by reducing leaks and eliminating the extra labor needed to seal installed ducts. They contain additives such as antioxidants, fungal inhibitors, and process aids to promote seal longevity.
Snap-Lock Pipe
Snap-lock pipes are the primary component of a snap-lock duct system. They feature two gaskets that seal the pipe and reduce labor costs by eliminating the need for foil tape and other sealing methods.
