Self-Sealing Duct & Fittings
Self-sealing ducts and fittings are used in low-pressure applications, like those found downstream of terminal boxes or in runouts from main ducts. They connect using integrated gaskets that seal their seams and connection points. These seals improve efficiency by reducing leaks and eliminating the extra labor needed to seal installed ducts. They contain additives such as antioxidants, fungal inhibitors, and process aids to promote seal longevity.
Collars With Dampers
Collars with dampers, also known as starting collars, install onto the main or trunk line of an HVAC system and provide a starting point for a duct run. They feature an integrated flange and peel-and-stick gasket that speeds up installation and reduces leakage at their connection points. The integrated damper controls airflow and allows users to direct it where needed.
