Bypass Dampers
Bypass dampers open and close to help relieve overpressure conditions in an HVAC system. They are commonly used with zoned forced-air systems and open when pressures reach a certain level, venting excess air to a dump zone or sending it back to the return duct. These dampers can be set manually to activate at a specific pressure.
Round Bypass Dampers
Round bypass dampers install into HVAC ducts and relieve overpressure conditions by opening and allowing excess pressure to vent to the return duct or a dump zone.
