Standard Forward-Curved Blowers
Standard forward-curved blowers, also called squirrel cage fans, feature many blower wheel blades that are angled toward the direction of rotation. This design allows them to run quietly while moving large volumes of air in clean-air applications. This makes them best suited for moving clean air against lower static pressures such as in air curtains, heaters, and as OEM parts in finished goods.
Direct-Drive Blowers with Drive
Direct-drive blowers with drive feature a blower wheel directly mounted onto the motor shaft to reduce friction and improve efficiency compared to a belt-drive blower. Direct-drive blowers have fewer moving parts and typically require less maintenance than belt-drive blowers.
