Order LookupBuilding Automation System Thermostat Controls
Available38 products
These low-voltage thermostat controls provide remote monitoring and temperature control by communicating with building automation systems, which regulate various components within a building's structure, including HVAC, electrical, lighting, and plumbing. Also known as communicating controls or networked controls, these thermostats control common HVAC equipment such as packaged rooftop units, air handlers, fan coil units, and heat pumps. These thermostat controls are energy efficient, as they adjust the temperature according to a series of programmed settings that take effect at different times of the day or days of the week. They also provide multidevice control, so all thermostats across a building can be controlled at once instead of individually.

BACnet IP Protocol
These thermostat controls communicate with BACnet IP (Building Automation Control Networks Internet Protocol) systems. BACnet/IP is a network protocol that allows multiple devices to communicate across building automation systems using Ethernet to send signals directly to a device, so these thermostats communicate faster than BACnet MP/TP thermostats. BACnet/IP systems also allow for more controllers per network, so users can scale up installations of thermostats across more rooms. These thermostat controls can also be used for standalone, noncommunicating applications. They provide remote monitoring and programmable temperature control for common HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.

BACnet MS/TP Protocol
These thermostat controls communicate with BACnet MS/TP (Building Automation and Control Networks Master Slave/Token Passing) systems. BACnet MS/TP is a network protocol that allows multiple devices to communicate across building automation systems using a system of tokens that passes signals from one device to another. These thermostat controls can be used for standalone, noncommunicating applications. They provide remote monitoring and programmable temperature control for common HVAC equipment in commercial buildings.
