Low-Voltage Thermostats

Available11 products

Low-voltage thermostats control temperatures of whole-building HVAC systems. They typically run on 24VAC and are powered by a step-down transformer wired to a standard 120VAC circuit. These thermostats send a signal to the HVAC system's control board instead of powering it directly. They have multiple wires that are thinner than those found in line-voltage thermostats. Low-voltage thermostats work with forced air furnaces, boilers, radiant heaters, and other systems in residential and commercial buildings. Nonprogrammable thermostats allow users to manually set the desired temperature. Programmable thermostats adjust the temperature according to a series of programmed settings. Wi-Fi programmable thermostats connect to a Wi-Fi network, allowing users to remotely program, monitor, and control the temperature from a device. Building automation system thermostat controls communicate with building automation protocols for remote monitoring and temperature control.
