Plug-In Line-Voltage Thermostats

These line-voltage thermostats plug into a wall outlet, and include a piggyback outlet that allows users to directly plug in portable heating or cooling equipment. After selecting the desired temperature, the thermostat automatically turns the plugged-in device on or off when reaching the setpoint temperature. Also known as portable thermostats, they don't require hardwiring and can be moved from space to space as heating and cooling needs change.

Nonprogrammable Thermostats for Portable Cooling Equipment
These thermostats are compatible with portable cooling equipment, such as air conditioners, refrigeration units, and freezers, and provide on/off temperature control. These thermostats have an adjustable setpoint range. They're nonprogrammable, so the temperature setting stays the same until it's readjusted. The cooling equipment plugs into the thermostats, which then plug into a wall outlet. Thermostats include a prewired extension cord. Units with bulb sensors provide remote sensing capabilities.
