Direct-immersion thermowell temperature controls include a thermowell assembly to monitor and control the temperature of liquids. The liquid-filled temperature probe inserts into the thermowell in a heat exchanger or pipework. Also known as hot water temperature controls or well immersion temperature controls, they're commonly used with hydronic heaters, which use hot water or steam for heating.
