Condensate neutralizers and pumps prevent condensate from high-efficiency heating units, such as gas wall and ceiling unit heaters, condensing boilers, water heaters, or furnaces, from corroding drains and sewer systems. A condensate neutralizer is a tube or canister that installs inline with a condensate drain from a heater. It's filled with media that raises the pH level of the acidic condensate to make it safe to discharge with a pump into the sewage or septic system.
