Band Heaters

Band heaters are used to heat pipes, nozzles, barrels, and other cylindrical parts. These fast-heat band heaters electrically warm the external surface of a cylindrical part to provide indirect heating. They have mica or ceramic insulation that helps ensure high dielectric strength and effective heat transfer. Nozzle heaters feature 10” braid and 12” fiberglass leads.

240V band heaters are available with aluminum extrusion, ceramic insulated fiber, mica insulated steel, and mineral-insulated stainless steel alloy construction. Maxiband® heaters consist of 2 tubular heating elements pressed into extruded aluminum tracks.

These 120V band heaters feature mica-insulated nozzles and barrels. The mica sheets help insulate the heater windings. Nozzle models feature rust-resistant, treated steel inner sheath casings. Barrel models feature 10-32 screw terminals, same side.

These 480V band heaters are ceramic-insulated. They feature 10-32 screw terminals, 180° from clamp. The built-in, 1/4"-thick ceramic fiber insulating blanket helps reduce power consumption 25 to 30%.
