Washdown electric wall and ceiling unit heaters provide warmth in applications where equipment frequently needs to be washed or hosed off, like wastewater treatment plants, coal handling areas, food processing plants, and car washes. They have corrosion-resistant housing and enclosed internal parts to prevent damage. These units may be mounted on walls or ceilings with a mounting bracket to free up floor space. They use a forced air system to heat the area. An internal element heats the air around it, and a fan pushes that hot air into the room. These heaters come with a thermostat.
