Industrial mobile and stationary floor fans sit close to the ground to resist tipping over, even when bumped, while providing a powerful stream of air at floor level. These air circulators are often used for spot cooling workstations or production lines and for general cooling in manufacturing plants, warehouses, and shipping operations. Made of heavy-gauge materials suitable for daily use, these axial fans have a powerful motor that drives the fan blades to move large volumes of air and feature high-performance bearings for a long life. A guard encloses the fan blades to help protect them from damage and prevent injuries from accidental contact. Mobile floor fans have wheels, so they can be rolled from one location to another as cooling needs change. Stationary floor fans are used in applications where fans don't need to be frequently relocated, but they are generally light enough to carry between locations.

Corrosion-resistant industrial mobile and stationary floor fans are made of materials that withstand exposure to moisture to allow operation in wet or humid areas without damage to the fan. Indoor uses include regulating temperature in greenhouses to optimize plant growth and ventilating livestock buildings to prevent heat stress in animals and reduce the buildup of moisture, manure gases, pathogens, and dust. They're also used as outdoor floor fans for cooling people in pool areas and other high-moisture locations. These air circulators have a totally enclosed motor to keep out water and debris.
