Evaporator Coils
Available6 products
Evaporator coils are metal tubes bent to form a panel or core for circulating refrigerant in an AC or heat pump system. They pair with an air handler to absorb heat during cooling or release heat during heating. They're used for replacing coils or changing coils to allow a different airflow orientation. Cased coils are housed in a protective metal cabinet that joins with the air handling unit. Uncased coils have no cabinet, so they fit into existing cabinets or ductwork.
Indoor Evaporator Coils
These evaporator coils are part of the indoor unit of a central air conditioner. They have aluminum tubing and fins to resist corrosion. The tubing is grooved to increase the surface air for heat transfer.
