Available3 products
Vertical packaged air conditioners (VPACs) install in a utility closet along an exterior wall, hardwire to an electrical circuit, and connect to ductwork for cooling and heating multiple rooms from a single unit. Also called vertical terminal air conditioners (VTACs), they stand on a floor or platform within the closet for a concealed installation that dampens sound to reduce noise levels in a room. They're commonly used in hotel rooms, student housing, assisted-living facilities, and commercial buildings.

Vertical Packaged Air Conditioners (VPACs)
Vertical packaged air conditioners (VPACs) are compact units that are concealed in a utility closet to provide cooling and heating for one or more rooms. These enclosed systems are piped for connection to ductwork and ready for electrical hookup, so they can be installed by maintenance personnel rather than requiring installation by an HVAC technician. Their chassis is insulated to reduce operating noise and is fitted to a wall plenum where intake is brought in and exhaust air is released.
