Viton Cord Stock
Viton cord stock resists chemicals, petroleum-based oils, fluids, and acids. Also called Fluorocarbon, it withstands use in harsh environments with high temperatures and is commonly used to create seals for automotive and aircraft parts and components.
Silicone Cord Stock
Silicone cord stock resists UV rays, dry heat, and high aniline-point oils. It is durable, flexible, and used to create seals in outdoor areas.
Neoprene Cord Stock
Neoprene cord stock provides moderate resistance to water, oxidation, UV rays, ammonia, and coolants and refrigerants. It is flexible, resists cracking and weathering, and is often used to create custom seals in refrigeration machinery and outdoor applications.
EPDM Cord Stock
EPDM cord stock resists water, steam, mild alkalis, and acids. Also called Ethylene-Propylene, it withstands UV rays and can be used to create custom seals used for extremely cold temperatures.
Aflas Cord Stock
Aflas cord stock provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures and harsh chemicals like acids, bases, petroleum, oils, and fuels. It is often used to create custom seals in oil production facilities and withstands hot water and steam in autoclaves and sterilization applications.
