Backup O-Rings
Available490 products
Backup O-rings are circular, donut-shaped gaskets that install in front of, in the back of, or on both sides of standard O-rings to provide a tighter seal and prevent liquids or gases from escaping. They maintain their shape over extended periods, come in different cut types, shapes, sizes, and materials, and have distinct durometer ratings required for sealing applications in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.
Buna-N Backup O-Rings
Buna-N backup O-rings provide additional support to standard Buna-N rings and resist petroleum-based fluids and chemicals, alcohol, and tears. Also known as nitrile backup O-rings, they are durable and frequently used to seal the parts and components of machines in indoor environments with moderate temperatures. Buna-N is the most common material used to manufacture O-rings.
