Hasps, Latches and Catches

Available398 products

Hasps, latches, and catches are mechanisms that fasten doors, cabinets, or lids shut. Hasps install on doors, gates, and cabinets to secure them when closed. Push-to-close latches and catches keep doors or cabinets closed and secure. Cam latches have a cam or bolt that rotates on an axis to release or secure a pawl or lever that shuts the door. Compression latches have a cam or bolt that rotates on an axis to release or secure a pawl or lever, which shuts the door. They use compression gaskets to form a tighter seal than standard cam latches. Draw latches have a clasp and hatch that attach to two different surfaces and connect to hold doors, chests, toolboxes, and other storage compartments together. Door bolts, latches, and chain guards are often used with doors in residential homes, apartment dwellings, and hotels to increase security.
