Shims & Shim Stock
Shims and shim stock fit into joints or between surfaces for spacing, leveling, alignment, and insulation applications. Round shims and arbor shims are washer-like shims that slide over shafts and arbors to provide accurate spacing of installed components. Round arbor spacers install onto drive shafts and help ensure the alignment and spacing of components. Slotted shims slide around bolts in assemblies to provide leveling and alignment without modifications. Shim stock consists of rolls or sheets of shim material that are manufactured to exact thicknesses that can be customized to fit various installations. Wedge shims are flat, angled shims that provide precise height and leveling adjustments. They commonly feature steps that can interlock and provide stability for heavier loads.
