Grooved Pins

Available454 products
Grooved pins feature several straight grooves that run along their length. These grooves are formed so that when the pin is installed, it deforms slightly to fill the grooves and lock itself in place. This creates a solid, non-permanent connection between the pin and the mounting surface.

Type A grooved pins, also called DIN 1471 or type 1 pins, are tapered with grooves that run along their entire length. This provides a strong hold that gets progressively stronger as the pin is driven into place. These pins may also be classified as DIN 1470 and DIN 1473, depending on their features.
