Single-Channel Surface Raceways

These raceways have a single channel for routing wire and cable. This design is ideal for simple runs where the conduit doesn't need to be separated. Surface raceways mount on walls and ceilings to bring wire and cable into a space. Wire and cable are laid into the raceways after installation, keeping the conductors from being exposed and preventing kinks. These raceways commonly house communication and power cable, and they're often installed in educational facilities, hospitals, and other industrial and commercial settings. Metallic raceways are durable and good for indoor areas with high traffic. Nonmetallic raceways are corrosion-resistant and may be used indoors and outdoors in low-traffic or out-of-reach areas.
