Motor Controls
Motor controls start, stop, regulate the speed, and change the rotation of electric motors. Contactors and overload relays pair together to create motor starters. Contactors are electrically operated switches that control power to high-voltage motors, machinery, and electrical systems. They open and close contacts to interrupt or power connections. Overload relays protect downstream equipment against excessive current conditions. Motor starters and combination starters control and monitor electrical loads to motors and protect them from damage. Motor monitoring and management systems provide comprehensive control of electrical motors for real-time performance monitoring and diagnostics. Drum and motor switches are manually operated controls that stop, start, or reverse the direction of motors. Contactor and motor starter replacement parts and accessories increase functionalities, replace worn and damaged components, or build new contactors and motor starter assemblies.
