Digital Output

NPN (Negative-Positive-Negative) is for low-power scenarios and applications that are sensitive to electrical noise. They amplify signals and switch smaller loads. When active, NPN sensors provide a low signal and connect to ground.
PNP (Positive-Negative-Positive) is for industrial automation applications where the load is connected between the sensor output and positive supply voltage, such as PLCs and other digital control systems. When the sensor detects pressure or reaches a set threshold, it switches the output from high (positive) to low (negative).
PNP/NPN support both (Positive-Negative-Positive) PNP and (Negative-Positive-Negative) NPN digital outputs. PNP is for industrial automation applications where the load is connected between the sensor output and positive supply voltage, such as PLCs and other digital control systems. When the sensor detects pressure or reaches a set threshold, it switches the output from high (positive) to low (negative). Pressure Connection Type

This represents the port type where the pressure source connects with the device. FNPT represents female-threaded connections, MNPT represents male-threaded connections, FNPS represents straight (non-tapered) female connections, and NPSF represents straight (non-tapered) male connections. The numerical values in parentheses represent the number of pressure connections a device has.
