Cable Pull Switches
Cable pull switches are installed along the length of conveyors and moving machinery to allow operators to quickly turn off the power in an emergency. Also known as cable pull safety switches, they consist of a switch body and tensioned cable that's pulled to actuate the switch and disconnect power from the system. Cable pull switches for dry and wet environments are sealed to withstand moisture, water, and dirty conditions. Cable pull switches for hazardous locations are used in environments with flammable gases, liquids, particles, and other combustible materials. Cable and cable pull kits include various lengths of cable and mounting hardware for installing and tensioning cable.
