Magnetically Actuated Safety-Interlock Switches
Magnetically actuated safety-interlock switches turn circuits on and off without any physical contact by detecting the presence or absence of a magnet. Also known as non-contact safety switches, they help protect operators and prevent accidents by disconnecting machinery from power when doors, shields, and panels are open. Rectangular magnetic safety-interlock switches install on doors, frames, and machinery surfaces. Cylindrical magnetic safety-interlock switches have compact constructions that install in cutouts on doors and frames. Magnetic actuators for safety-interlock switches replace worn and damaged components.
