Action

Identifies whether the operator will remain in the position it's manually moved to, or if it will return to its original position once let go. The order represents the sequence in which the switch will operate from top to bottom or from left to right. Maintained switches change from on or off when actuated and stay in the same position until engaged again. Momentary switches stay on or off while held and return to the default position when released.

Hub Style

Dead-End have one hole where cables enter and exit. Dead-end hubs provide room inside them to splice, tap, and terminate conductors.
Feed-Thru have two in-line holes where cables enter through one and exit the other. Feed-thru hubs are designed to route wires through the enclosure.

This represents the size of the hub on a device where metal conduit secures. Hubs are unthreaded openings on boxes or enclosures where threaded metal conduit connects.
