Telecom Fuses
Available24 products
Telecom fuses provide overcurrent protection for DC power-distribution circuits in telecommunications systems. They open a circuit when exposed to overloads or short circuits to help prevent damage to wiring and equipment. These fuses are designed primarily for telecommunications circuits, but are sometimes used on computer and control circuits. They're commonly used on connectivity panels and low-amperage network components.
Fast-Acting Telecom Fuses, Indicating
Fast-acting, indicating telecom fuses open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits. These fast-blow telecom fuses are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don't tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges. Sometimes called alarm fuses, they trigger an LED or audio alarm when they've blown to aid fuse replacement.

Fast-Acting Telecom Fuses, Nonindicating
Fast-acting, nonindicating telecom fuses open within seconds of being exposed to overloads and short circuits. Also called fast-blow telecom fuses, they are highly sensitive to changes in current flow and don't tolerate temporary overload currents or power surges. They have no indicator for identifying a blown fuse, so they're sometimes used with an indicating fuse block or cover.
