Internal-mount surge protective devices (SPDs) install inside an electrical panel and are used to detect and limit power surges that can damage equipment. They save space, so no outside wall space is required for wall mounting. These SPDs can protect specific lines and equipment, equipment fed from the panelboard location, or the whole panel.

DIN Rail Internal-Mount SPD Replacement Modules
These are direct replacement surge modules for Bussmann DIN rail internal-mount SPDs. They're the portion of the SPD that limits power surges. They snap into the SPD base and can be removed by pressing the release buttons, so they don't require installation or removal tools. The module and base have integrated mechanical coding that prevents the wrong module from being installed.
