Order LookupBallast-To-Luminaire Disconnects
Available2 products
Ballast-to-luminaire disconnects are insulated plug-and-socket connectors that allow quick connection and disconnection of ballasts and luminaires without turning off the incoming power to perform rework and installations. The connectors plug in and create tight holds to transfer and ground power from the ballast to the lighting fixture. Each disconnect has ports where wires push into and catch on an internal tab that bites into the conductor to hold, splice the connection, and prevent it from pulling out. Typical uses include installing or retrofitting fluorescent or HID lighting.

Push-In Luminaire Disconnects
These ballast-to-luminaire disconnects have male and female connectors that plug into each other to create secure connections between ballasts and luminaires. Each connector has ports where the conductors insert and get held in place with an internal metal tab that splices the connection and prevents the wires from falling out.
