Lever wire connectors have reusable latching mechanisms that create quick, semipermanent connections between conductors. They install by hand and extend or terminate electrical connections in branch circuit applications, such as lighting fixtures, electronic devices, junction boxes, and prefabricated wiring systems. Their insulated housing has ports connected by a busbar where the primary (run) and secondary (tap) wires insert and then are clamped down to prevent them from pulling out. A portion of their housing is clear to provide visual verification of the connections during and after installation.
